Traffic Basics

Congratulations!!! You are now on your way to having your very own cash machine!  Pat yourself on the back.  Now let's see how we can get some visitors to your site.

There are many ways to generate traffic to a web site.  You can take out a classified ad in either a regular paper or an online ezine.  The disadvantage here is your traffic may not be "targeted."  In other words the people who see your ads may not be interested in your product. You might get visitors, but they may not be all that interested.  Another way to get traffic is to use "Pay Per Click" or PPC advertising.  The best know of these programs is Google's Adwords (www.adwords.google.com )  This can be very effective if you are able to bid on good keywords.  Of course the advantage here is visitors will be "targeted" you are using the words they are using to search, so you know they are looking for what you are promoting.  The BIG problem with PPC is you can loose money very quickly if you don't know what you are doing.  If you want more information on this subject take a look at "Google Adwords Secrets Revealed" at http://www.adwords-secrets.com/ for more.

One of the least expensive and easiest ways to promote your product is by article marketing.  What you do here is write a few articles on the subject of the product.  You then submit these articles to various article directories.  What makes this work is what is called the "Author's Box."  This is a box that usually appears at the end of the article.  As part of the credits there is a link to the authors site.  So write an article with a link to your squeeze page and hopefully the reader will be curious to find out more.

Here is an example:

John Doe is an expert on widgets.
He has spent his entire life studying them.
For more information about widgets check out his site at www.johnswidgets.com.

Here is where there is a bit of work involved.  You need to keep up the efforts until your site is generating the income you want.  This is one area where you might want to hire someone to write for you.  For a fairly small amount, you can hire someone at rent a coder or e lance to write them for you.  Although writing yourself is not as difficult as you might think.  If you look at this web site it is a series of articles.  I was able to write each in less than an hour.

A great resource that you might find useful is Easy Push Button Traffic at http://www.easypushbuttontraffic.com .  This is a one stop solution to getting traffic to your site.

Now that you have an idea of what is involved in building your Cash Machine, just repeat the process.  Work on one site until you are either making over $100 a day, then move to the next.
